The Army Museum had to re-commission the sword and the spur. Interestingly, the sword was found with a resident of Lysekil in 1998.

To commemorate the victory at Brunkeberg, Sten Sture (see there) ordered a wooden monument for Storkyrkan in Stockholm, Saint George and the Dragon, built in the late 1480s. Saint George’s horse carries Sten Sture’s coat of arms, and the monument is therefore interpreted as a symbol of his victory over Denmark, the dragon.

Charles X is portrayed as a civilian rider, without visible arms, in contrast to many other equestrian statues of kings. He sits quietly on his horse, that seems also relaxed, except for its tail, the only sign of some impatience. The horse has very long manes, a sign of royal distinction.
