				<description><![CDATA[<p>The monument (also known as the Battle of Grunwald monument) was unveiled on 15th July 1910, i.e. precisely on the 500th anniversary of the battle, in the presence of around 150,000 onlookers. The monument was destroyed by the Nazis in 1939. Its reconstruction and repeated unveiling did not take place until 1976.
