The Spearman and The Bowman are two powerful equestrian sculptures by the Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović , standing as gatekeepers in Grant Park, Chicago Illinois. An unusual aspect is that the figures in both sculptures are missing their weapons: the spear, and the bow and arrow.
