Brandenburg, Christian Ernst von

This statue is a baroque gilded sandstone statue, in memory of his role in the relief of Vienna in 1683. Although not particularly successful as a military man, the count is portrayed as the source from where the rivers flow to the four continents, his horse trampling the Turks, in this way supporting his rearing horse. Note also the dwarf with the same function.
