(1171-1206) Count of Henegouwen and Flanders. He was leading the Fourth Crusade, this time not targeting Jerusalem, but as instigated by Venice: Constantinople. After the capture of that city, Baudoin was crowned as the first Latin Emperor of Constantinople. A year later the Bulgarian Tsar Kalojan imprisoned him. Nothing was heard from him since.
