Ola, Siméon

(1865–1952), who was the last general to surrender to American forces during the Philippine-American War. He only surrendered on the condition that his men would be granted amnesty. He was put on trial, proven guilty of sedition and sentenced to thirty years in prison. In 1904, he was given a pardon.
