Richemont, Arthur de

(1393-1458) was at the very end of his life Duke of Brittany. He was one of the supporters of Jeanne d’Arc and fought alongside her during her victory at the battle of Patay in 1429. He was commander of the French army at the battle of Formigny in 1450 that sealed the recapture of Normandy.
