(1869–1964), officially the first President of the Philippines, from 1899 to 1901. He led his forces in the latter part of the Philippine Revolution, in the Spanish-American War and finally against the United States. He was captured in 1901 and went into exile on Guam, returning to the Philippines decades later. Aguinaldo was both the youngest president (at the age of 29), and, dying at the age of 94, also the longest living.
