Buffalo soldier monument

This monument is dedicated to the memory of the 9 and 10 Cavalry Regiments that was comprised of black soldiers. They served in the Indian wars and won the respect of the Cheyenne warriors who named them ’Buffalo Soldiers’, which could be and was considered as a badge of honour.
