Vasil Chekalarov

(1874–1913) was a Bulgarian revolutionary and one of the leaders of the IMRO in Aegean Macedonia. He is considered an ethnic Macedonian in the Republic of Macedonia. His dynamic equestrian statue shows him charging with a pistol.
