Shumsher, Juddha

orJang Bahadur Rana (1875–1952) was the prime minister of Nepal from 1932 to 1945 as the head of the Rana dynasty. The great earthquake of 1934 levelled over 80 per cent of the city’s buildings, with untold human casualties. Rebuilding Nepal took the better part of Juddha’s energies. His statue by an unknown artist could not be photographed properly.
