Tarabai

(1675–1761) was the queen of Chhatrapati Rajaram, the son of Shivaji. As regent of the Maratha Empire from 1700 until 1708, she kept alive the resistance against the Mughal occupation of Maratha territories after the death of her husband in 1700.
