Amazon attacked

Mounted Amazon Attacked by a Panther (1837) in front of the National Museum in Berlin, is a great work of art by Kiss depicting a bare-breasted female, seated on a rearing horse that is caught in the jaws of an attacking panther that has wrapped itself around the horse’s neck. Replicas cast from this sculpture was installed at the entrance of the Philadelphia Art Museum in 1929.
